This performance explores the mundane tasks that became part of the everyday routine while on pilgrimage. There was a beauty in the simplicity of each action, yet they were rarely completed alone. Pilgrims would walk together, eat together, wash clothes together, and pray together. Sacra Mundanam explores how through repetition, emphasis can be placed on these actions, while isolating and replicating them outside of the environment they were first experienced.
