The Journey Inward became much more than a path. As the week progressed, I continued to find sand out of place. It was evident that people would wander inward out of their own curiosity. As a result, the piece continued to ask for my time and care. It became a daily routine to carefully sweep the sand back into place, preparing the path for the next interested walker. It seemed only fitting to walk the path one last time, following the footsteps that so many others had walked before me. My experience ended with one final cleaning, this time sweeping the sand to the center, ridding of the physical path.
